Community Support

The Wagga Girls Project is a community-led celebration of the women who shaped life in Wagga Wagga, and its success depends on the voices of the community it honours.

Letters of support from local organisations, groups, and residents help demonstrate that this work is collaborative, credible, and genuinely connected to the Riverina region. If your organisation believes in preserving and celebrating the stories of local women, we would love to hear from you.

Eastern Riverina Arts

Eastern Riverina Arts (ERA) is a not-for-profit organisation that has been supporting artists and creative communities across the Riverina since 1991. ERA administers the Country Arts Support Program (CASP) on behalf of the NSW Government, funding individual artists and original creative projects across the region, and offers the Eastern Riverina Writers Grant to support regional writers and bold creative projects including oral history, digital storytelling, anthologies and performance.

The Wagga Girls Project is deeply grateful for the support of ERA, who have generously agreed to auspice the project, providing the administrative and financial infrastructure that makes community-led creative work like this possible. Their belief in the value of local stories and the people who tell them is what allows projects like ours to move from idea to reality.
